🍷 Cruise to Vino in the Valley

Join the Great Northern Region for our third annual cruise to Vino in the Valley, a summertime GNR tradition that brings together scenic roads, great company, and a relaxed late lunch in western Wisconsin wine country.

This year’s route begins in Hastings, crosses into Wisconsin, includes a stop at Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery, and finishes at Vino in the Valley.

🗓️ Event Details

• Date: Sunday, August 2, 2026
• Meet-up: 11:30 AM–12:00 PM at Holiday Station Stores in Hastings
• Departure: 12:15 PM from Hastings
• Stop: Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery
• Destination: Vino in the Valley
• Arrival: Approximately 2:00 PM for a late lunch @ Vino
• Format: Scenic club cruise and casual destination lunch

🚘 Drive Timeline

• 11:30 AM–12:00 PM: Meet at Holiday Station Stores in Hastings, a familiar GNR gathering point.
• 12:15 PM: Depart Hastings and head east across the St. Croix River toward Ellsworth.
• 12:40 PM: Arrive at Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery for a one-hour stop.
• 1:40 PM: Depart Ellsworth for the final scenic leg through the Rush River Valley toward Maiden Rock.
• 1:55–2:00 PM: Arrive at Vino in the Valley for our late lunch.

🧀 Ellsworth Creamery Stop

Our mid-drive stop at Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery gives everyone time to stretch, shop, and enjoy one of Wisconsin’s favorite roadside treats.

• Pick up fresh cheddar curds from the retail store
• Enjoy real dairy ice cream
• Check out the curd wagon for deep-fried curds, if available

• A casual summer road trip with fellow GNR members and friends
• A scenic route from Hastings into western Wisconsin
• A relaxed stop at Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery
• A beautiful destination with food, wine, and valley scenery

Please plan to arrive at the Hastings meet-up with enough time to say hello, get settled, and be ready for our 12:15 PM departure.
