Car Cruise to Unique Auto, Mankato, MN with After Glow in Jordan, MN
Come join us for an unforgettable day of classic cars, scenic drives, and good company! On Saturday, August 12, we’ll be cruising to Unique Auto in Mankato, MN for a day of exploring their incredible collection of classic cars and other unique vehicles.
On the day of our visit, we have a reserved area specially set aside for our club members to park together prominently near the building, giving us the “red-carpet” treatment.
Here’s what you need to know about our 8am Caravan and 9am arrival:
- Opportunity to Showcase. This is not just any parking opportunity, it’s a chance to showcase our club as a distinguished group. Unique Auto has set aside a special area exclusively for our car club. This means we won’t be parking randomly in the lot, but rather, we’ll be parked together in a prominent location.
- Red Carpet. Our tour guide, Jeff Kuchenbecker, who is club member Perry Ruedy’s nephew, has arranged this unique treatment for us. Let’s make this event a huge success and show our gratitude to Perry and his nephew for going above and beyond for our car club.
Schedule:
8:00 AM – Meet at MN’s Largest Candy Store (Hwy 169)
8:05 AM – Caravan to Unique Auto in Mankato (50 minute drive)
9:00 AM – Arrive @ Unique
RED CARPET – see above.
11:30 AM – Lunch – local food trucks, including The Pelican
1:30 PM – Depart for Earl’s (optional) – you are free to join us, continue your own adventures in and near Mankato, or head home.
2:30 PM – Arrival at Earl’s in Jordan – tour, snacks, drinks, shop time
4:00 PM – Event concludes – safe travels home!

For those who are not familiar with Unique Auto, they have a vast collection of rare and unique vehicles, including muscle cars, sports cars, and vintage trucks. It’s a must-see for any car enthusiast, and we’re excited to be able to share this experience with our members.
The drive down to Mankato will be a beautiful one, so we encourage everyone to take their time and enjoy the scenery. Once we arrive at Unique Auto, we’ll have plenty of time to explore the collection before heading back up to Jordan for the after-glow event.
