🌈 Austin Pride and Member Experience

Join the Great Northern Region for a full-day road trip to Austin, Minnesota — combining a club caravan, group lunch, Austin Pride, and more!

We’ve put together a general itinerary for the day, but this is meant to be flexible. Join us for the entire adventure or choose the parts that interest you most.

• Twin Cities meet-up: Lakeville McDonald’s, 21044 Kenrick Ave, Lakeville

• Cost: No charge for the planned club activities, lunch, Pride Festival, dessert or beverages

🚗 The Day

• 10:00 a.m. — Twin Cities Caravan
  Meet at the Lakeville McDonald’s, 21044 Kenrick Ave, just off I-35 at Exit 81. Members who would like to travel together will leave from here for Austin. Map
  
• Noon — Lunch at Steve’s
  We’ll caravan to — or meet up at — Steve’s home in Austin, where Steve will provide lunch at no charge to members.
• 1:00–3:00 p.m. — Austin Pride Festival or SPAM Museum
  Head over to the Austin Pride Festival for an afternoon of Pride festivities. Admission is free. Or head downtown to the SPAM museum. Price is at Bandshell Community Park, located at 4th st and 9th place SW, Austin, MN 55912, and the SPAM museum is at 101 3rd Avenue NE, Austin, MN 55912
• 3:00 p.m. until whenever — Dessert & Beverages at Justin’s
  We’ll finish the organized portion of the day at Justin’s home for dessert and beverages, also at no charge to members. There is no formal ending time, so members may head home whenever they’re ready.

🏡 Two Very Special Stops

Steve’s home is a large 1940s classic home in a private setting adjacent to the Austin Country Club — shared with his five small dogs.

Justin’s home dates to 1912 and is filled with antiques along with his amazing collection of vintage appliances.

Addresses are shared only to those who register.

🧭 Make the Day Your Own

The itinerary after lunch is intentionally flexible. You might spend the afternoon at Austin Pride, head directly to Justin’s, visit the SPAM Museum instead of Pride, or create your own combination. We’ll provide the framework — you choose your adventure.
