On Saturday, August 12, we’ll be cruising to Unique Auto in Mankato, MN for a day of exploring their incredible collection of classic cars and other unique vehicles.\nOn the day of our visit, we have a reserved area specially set aside for our club members to park together prominently near the building, giving us the “red-carpet” treatment.\nHere’s what you need to know about our 8am Caravan and 9am arrival:\n\nOpportunity to Showcase. This is not just any parking opportunity, it’s a chance to showcase our club as a distinguished group. Unique Auto has set aside a special area exclusively for our car club. This means we won’t be parking randomly in the lot, but rather, we’ll be parked together in a prominent location.\nRed Carpet. Our tour guide, Jeff Kuchenbecker, who is club member Perry Ruedy’s nephew, has arranged this unique treatment for us. Let’s make this event a huge success and show our gratitude to Perry and his nephew for going above and beyond for our car club.\n\nSchedule:\n8:00 AM – Meet at MN’s Largest Candy Store (Hwy 169)\n8:05 AM – Caravan to Unique Auto in Mankato (50 minute drive)\n9:00 AM – Arrive @ Unique\nRED CARPET – see above.\n11:30 AM – Lunch – local food trucks, including The Pelican ( https://www.pelicanfoodtruck.com/menu )\n1:30 PM – Depart for Earl’s (optional) – you are free to join us, continue your own adventures in and near Mankato, or head home.\n2:30 PM – Arrival at Earl’s in Jordan – tour, snacks, drinks, shop time\n4:00 PM – Event concludes – safe travels home!\n \nDon’t miss out on this fantastic day of classic cars, good food, and even better company!\nMore info about the day…\nFor those who are not familiar with Unique Auto, they have a vast collection of rare and unique vehicles, including muscle cars, sports cars, and vintage trucks. Once we arrive at Unique Auto, we’ll have plenty of time to explore the collection before heading back up to Jordan for the after-glow event.\n
